Nollywood actor, Gideon Okeke, has dclaimed that his colleague, Zubby Micheal, is the biggest Nollywood star.

Naija News recalls that earlier this year, Zubby Micheal and Timini Egbuson, in the first episode of the Prime Video original reality show, ‘Ebuka Turns Up Africa’, engaged in a heated debate on who the biggest actor in Africa.

Egbuson claimed he was bigger than Zubby Michael in terms of the quality of movies, box office records, and popularity among industry experts, but the latter insisted that he was richer and more successful than his colleague.

In a post via his Instagram story, Gideon said Zubby is the biggest Nollywood star, adding he can attest to the thespian’s greatness and potential.

He wrote, “Zubby Micheal is the biggest Nollywood star. But like Elizabeth, I know what Mary is carrying. God’s expression resounds in different decibels.

“It takes only humility to submit in praise, to God. Keep riding my broda. I see you.”

Basketmouth Exposes Nollywood Producers Embezzling Investment Funds From Streaming Platform

In other news, Nigerian comedian cum filmmaker, Bright Okpocha, better known as Basketmouth, has made a shocking revelation about the mismanagement of funds by Nollywood producers.

Naija News reports that Basketmouth, in an interview with Arise TV, alleged that movie producers are given huge amounts of money by streaming platforms.

However, the producers use only 10% of the funds to produce the movie and use the rest to buy houses and cars.

The comedian also alleged that some producers coerce actors to share their monies whenever streaming platforms bypass them to pay directly.

While Basketmouth refused to mention names, he added that the producers who embezzle funds from streaming platforms know themselves.
