Former Presidential aide, Reno Omokri has slammed Minister of State for Labour and Employment, Festus Keyamo for saying the Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate, Peter Obi, has more experience than the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) flagbearer, Atiku Abubakar.
Naija News reports that Keyamo, during an interview on Channels TV, on Friday declared that Abubakar is not tested and trusted like Obi.
He argued that Atiku has only been the Vice President but the Vice President doesn’t have the final say in making decisions in government unlike both Obi and Bola Tinubu who have occupied Governorship positions, where they can make final decisions.
Keyamo added that Obi has more experience in making the final call in governance than Atiku and it would therefore be wrong to hand over the leadership of Nigeria to the PDP candidate come 2023.
Reacting, Omokri in a post shared on his Twitter handle on Saturday said Keyamo displayed ignorance over the statement about Atiku.
Omokri wrote: “Keyamo displayed ignorance in saying Atiku has no executive capacity, and Obi has more experience than him.
“Who was in charge when President Obasanjo travelled and Ngige was abducted on July 10, 2003? It was Atiku. Atiku ORDERED Tafa Balogun to restore Ngige to power!”
