Popular Nigerian singer, Iyanya Onoyom Mbuk, also known as Iyanya, has shared his thoughts on the reason most reality TV show winners don’t thrive after winning a music competition.

According to Iyanya, most reality TV show stars don’t have the intention of being famous.

The singer who was the winner of Project Fame West Africa Season 1 disclosed this in a recent interview with Hip TV.

The ‘Kukere’ crooner opined that most winners simply decide to give the show a try and ended up winning.

However, he noted that those who do well are individuals who have constantly prayed for the platform and finally got a chance.

According to him, “Obviously, most people who win these reality shows don’t have any plans of being famous or anything. It just happened to them. Yeah, he has a nice voice, tried it and he won.

“So, I believe that the people who go further are the people who prayed for that platform. And they finally got it and they are like, ‘I’m not going back from here.’ That is how I look at it.”
