Arodiogbu, who spoke to journalists in Anambra, said the ruling party made mistakes that cost it in the last 2023 general election.

He said the party has achieved much under his leadership and he aimed to get the remaining All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) state of Anambra, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) state of Enugu and Labour Party (LP) state of Abia into APC.

The South East National Vice Chairman of APC said mobilizations were on to ensure more Ndigbo are recruited into the ruling party.

Arodiogbu said, “I can assure you of the zone’s intention of correcting the mistake of 2023 by ensuring that the party wins the forthcoming Anambra guber polls.

“All hands are on deck to actualize such, after which Abia and Enugu would also follow. We have a number of positives for the party in the zone, and we hope that these will translate to victory.”

On activities of the ruling party to ensure it actualized its plan, he said there have been decamping of some South East stakeholders into the ruling party.

The achievements of the zone under my stewardship include the continuous mobilization of members by the party in the various states, which had seen a number of stalwarts decamp into the party’s progressive fold,” he added.

Recall that former senate president, Anyim Pius Anyim defected from the main opposition PDP to APC.
