Former spokesperson for Atiku Abubakar’s 2023 presidential campaign council, Daniel Bwala, has urged Nigerians to be patient over President Bola Tinubu‘s planned cabinet reshuffle.
Naija News reports that Bwala, during an interview on Channels Television’s Politics Today on Wednesday, emphasized that the timing of the reshuffle is entirely at Tinubu’s discretion.
According to him, President Tinubu is likely making decisions based on his ministers’ Key Performance Indicators (KPI) assessments, which were introduced earlier.
He added that the President has the final say in evaluating his ministers and urged Nigerians to trust the process and be patient, as the reshuffle could happen at any moment.
He said, “He will do it when he wants to do it. The good thing is that he must have formed his own opinion based on assessment when they introduced this KPI assessment, and any minister who has not been able to meet up with this assessment will be able to know.
“It is the President who is now the overall assessor. He even engaged the Nigerian people, he said ‘go and talk to them about the programme and he will do it when he will do it.
“I want to urge Nigerians to have the patience, the President will do it. It can be tonight, it can be tomorrow, it can be anytime.”
