Thierry Henry Speaks On Arsenal’s Chances Of Winning EPL Title

Arsenal Legend, Thierry Henry Bags New Coaching Job

Former Arsenal striker, Thierry Henry has shared his thoughts on the Gunners’ prospects of clinching the Premier League title this season.

Thierry Henry expressed concerns regarding Arsenal’s chances, indicating that following their recent string of defeats, it would be “extremely difficult” for them to contend for the league title.

Arsenal’s situation worsened after suffering a disappointing loss to Newcastle United in the Premier League last weekend, which raised questions about their form.

The team’s challenges continued as they faced Inter Milan in the Champions League, where they were defeated 1-0 at the San Siro Stadium. This back-to-back loss had significant implications for their morale and standing in both competitions.

In an interview with CBS Sports, Henry emphasized that Arsenal’s current position makes it evident that they are not legitimate title challengers at the moment.

He said, “Right now they are not; they are not challenging for the league; the results are not good enough to keep them at the top. There is still a long way to go in the season, but the recent performances are concerning.”

Thierry Henry highlighted the importance of their upcoming match against Chelsea, stating that the outcome of this clash could be pivotal for their title hopes.

Henry further stated that if Arsenal were to lose to Chelsea, it could spell the end of their aspirations for the Premier League title.

He explained, “I think it will be extremely difficult. Why? Because you have too many teams to catch up with. While one team can experience difficulties, it’s hard to see more than one or two strong teams like Liverpool and Manchester City stumbling simultaneously, which is the challenge facing Arsenal right now.”
