“Clerk, When I came in here, there was nobody on this roll. You were not here, your deputies were not here. What kind of a thing is that? What kind of thing is that?

“We are now forced to adjourn the House because of that. Everybody should see me in my office. The House is adjourned to Tuesday”.

In other news, the National Secretariat of the All Progressives Congress in Abuja has been taken over by operatives of the Nigeria Police Force.

The development is coming ahead of the party’s inauguration of the state executives in Abuja.

It was gathered that the ruling party deployed the security operatives to forestall the breakdown of law and order.

The chairman of the Caretaker/Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee (CECPC) and Governor of Yobe State, Mai Mala Buni is expected to inaugurate the new executive.

The ruling party has been experiencing crisis due to the outcome of state congresses last year.

Some chapters of the party had two different congresses with factions within the party electing their excos and claiming to be in charge in the state.

The ruling party is hoping to sort the grievances rocking the party before its National convention later this month.
