Kiki Mordi, the BBC undercover journalist behind the trending sexual harassment trending document on sexual harassment in Nigerian universities has raised alarm over subtle threats to her life.
The investigative journalist revealed that the investigation was necessitated by her personal experience as she was sexually harassed during her days in the university.
“I have received subtle threats since this work was completed but I am not bothered because the BBC takes the security of employees seriously. she said in a chat with Sahara Reporters.
Meanwhile, Dr Boniface Igbeneghu, a lecturer and former sub-dean of faculty of art in the University of Lagos (UNILAG), has been suspended by the institution, for sexual harassment.
Naija News reports that Dr Boniface, who doubles as a head pastor of a Foursquare Gospel Church in Lagos, was exposed in the 13-minute video documentary released on Monday by the BBC Africa.
