Reps Swear In Chike As Replacement For Recently Appointed Minister

Chike Okafor has been sworn in by the House of Representatives as the replacement for Emeka Nwajuba, who is now a Minister following appeal court judgment.

Recall that a lower court, had earlier sacked Nwajuba and replaced him with Chike, who has now being sworn in during plenary on Tuesday.

An Abuja Division of the Court of Appeal in August sacked Emeka Nwajuba as a member representing Ehimembano/Ihiteuboma/Obowo Federal Constituency of Imo State at the House of Representatives, however, he was already a Minister-designate by then.
