The lawmakers will resume on the 6th of June, the day of the joint valedictory session of the National Assembly.
Naija News understands that the ongoing Ramadan fast is due to terminate before the 6th of June.
The Green chamber has in the last few days tried to wrap up its legislative activities, sitting for long hours in a bid to offload its pending work, the Nation reports.
It was expected that Thursday’s plenary would be the last sitting of the 8th House as the tenure of the House terminates on the 9th of June, which falls on a Sunday.
