The Bayelsa State Police Command has confirmed that Madam Beauty Ogere, the mother of Samson Siasia, a former Super Eagles coach, has been released by kidnappers.
Confirming her release on Sunday, Mr Asinim Butswat, the Police Public Relations Officer, a Superintendent of Police, said the police command would issue an official statement later.
The release of Saisia’s 80-year-old mother is coming three weeks after Samson Siasia had pleaded with the kidnappers to release his mother after they collected N1.5m as ransom. 
Naija News reports that the kidnap of the 80-year-old mother of the former Super Eagles striker and Coach makes it the second time she’s being kidnapped in four years.
Recall that the mother to the former Super Eagles coach was kidnapped in November 2015, but was apparently released 12 days after.
