Paul Pogba Insists He Can’t Betray Juventus For AC Milan

Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba has made a definitive statement regarding his future in Italian football, asserting that he will never consider a move to rival Serie A club AC Milan.

In an interview with Sky Sport, Paul Pogba emphasized his loyalty to Juventus, stating, “Will I join AC Milan? Impossible. Even if Zlatan Ibrahimović were to call me, he knows I won’t betray Juve.”

Pogba expressed a strong connection to Juventus, reiterating, “I do not see myself in any other jersey. My focus is on getting back into the Juve shirt.”

The 31-year-old France international is set to return to the pitch in January 2025, following a ban that was recently reduced by the Court of Arbitration for Sport.

Initially, he faced a four-year suspension for testing positive for testosterone, but this was cut to 18 months, allowing him to rejoin competitive football sooner than anticipated.

Amidst discussions about his future, speculation has arisen regarding the possibility of terminating his contract with Juventus, potentially leading to interest from various European clubs, including a rumored link to Marseille.

Meanwhile, Paul Pogba has revealed in an interview with La Gazzetta dello Sport that he had previously turned down an opportunity to join Manchester City under manager Pep Guardiola.

He affirmed, “Yes, I turned down Pep Guardiola’s approach to accept Juventus’ proposal. That story is true.”

When asked about his ideal coach, Pogba expressed admiration for Sir Alex Ferguson, reminiscing about the brief time he spent under Ferguson’s guidance during his early years at Manchester United, stating, “I only had him for a bit and was very young.”

As he prepares to make his comeback in January, Pogba remains focused on solidifying his position at Juventus and reaffirming his commitment to the club that he considers home.
