FEC Holds Extraordinary Session In Buhari’s Absence
Vice President Yemi Osinbajo is currently presiding over an extraordinary session of the Federal Executive Council holding at the State House in Abuja.
Naija News reports the session started by 10 am on Monday.
This was confirmed in a tweet by Mr Laoulu Akande, spokesperson of the Vice President.

Recall the council also last week, stayed longer during its session as it tries to tie up all loose ends even as the Buhari administration heads towards the twilight of its first tenure.
The Minister of information, Alh Lai Mohammed had earlier disclosed that the valedictory session for the current Federal Executive Council will hold on Wednesday, 22nd May ahead of the end of the current tenure.
President Muhammadu Buhari, who is currently on lesser hajj to Saudi Arabia, is set to begin his second tenure in office by May 29 having been declared the winner of the February 23 presidential elections in Nigeria.
