Osinbajo, Nigerian Governors Meet Over Ruga Settlement Controversies

Nigeria’s Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo on Wednesday, held a closed-door meeting with a number of Nigerian governors at Aso rock.

Naija News understands that the meeting might not be unconnected with the backlash trailing establishment of Ruga settlements across the country.

Those at the meeting included governors of Ebonyi, Dave Umahi, Plateau, Simon Lalong, Kebbi, Atiku Bagudu, the Deputy Governor of Adamawa state, Martins Nasir.

Others present are Samuel Ortom of Benue, Darius Ishaku of Taraba, Godwin Obaseki of Edo, Seyi Makinde of Oyo and Bello Matawalle of Zamfara states.
