The family of popular gospel singer Osinachi Nwachukwu, popularly known for her single, ‘Ekwueme’ has reportedly fixed the 25th of June, 2022 for her burial.
Recall that the gospel singer died on the 8th of April after her husband allegedly assaulted her.
It was gathered that the family of the talented singer have insisted that his remains be buried in her father’s compound at Isuochi, Abia State, instead of her husband’s house.
According to BBC Igbo, Osinachi’s family are also thinking of returning the singer’s bride price.

The Attorney-General of the Federation charged Peter under sections 104 and 379 of the Administration of Criminal Justice Act, 2015.
Peter was charged with culpable homicide contrary to section 221 of the Penal Code which is punishable with death.
The case with charge number, CR/199/2022, was filed at the High Court of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, on May 20, 2022, by the Head, Sexual and Gender-Based Violence, Department of Public Prosecutions of the Federation, Ministry of Justice, Mrs Yewande Gbola-Awopetun.
