Okocha Leads Solidarity March For Tinubu After Court Sacks Him As Chairman Of APC Caretaker Committee

Sacked Rivers State caretaker chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) on Tuesday, led a rally in Port Harcourt, to show solidarity for President Bola Tinubu.

This development is coming after Justice Sika Aprioku, nullified the sack of Emeka Beke as APC chairman and also reinstated him.

The court also nullified the dissolution of the elected state working committee led by Beke while simultaneously nullifying the appointment of Okocha and his caretaker committee members.

The judge further issued an order restraining Okocha and his members from parading themselves as exco members of the APC in the oil-rich state.

Okocha questioned the motive of the judge in delivering the judgement against him while insisting that he’s still in charge and that he’s appealing the judgement.

In a fresh development, members of the Renewed Hope Family of Rivers State (led by Tony Okocha himself) from the different local governments in the state assembled in their numbers at the Port Harcourt Polo Club.

They carried banners with inscriptions showing their support for President Tinubu.

It is not certain what they aim to achieve, but as of the time of filing this report, they are marching down Aba Road.

There’s heavy traffic congestion because of their large number.
