The list is believed to include Babatunde Fashola, Rotimi Amaechi, Ogbonnaya Onu, former Osun Governor Rauf Aregbesola, and Senator Godswill Akpabio.

Also on the list is Festus Keyamo, Sunday Dare, Sharon Ikeazor, Niyi Adebayo, Gbemisola Saraki, Olutayo Alasoadura and Olurunnibe Mamora.

Following the confirmation that the President has transmitted the list to the National Assembly, Nigerians have taken to the micro-blogging site, Twitter to air their opinions.

See some reactions:

So osun state doesn’t have any other person aside Aregbesola. Like the whole state is poor om cash and intellect? A Governor who left the state im debt is been considered for ministerial position. I love Buhari sha he likes to surround himself with incompetent folks like him

The beautiful thing about this Ministerial list is that the nominees are people WELL KNOWN to Buhari. Whatever we see or get from them is Buhari’s true reflection – his character. Finally, we hope there won’t be room for any blames again.

There’s nothing in this #MinisterialList that inspires hope. It’s made up of mostly politicians. @MBuhari is big on rewarding political patronage. There’s noting wrong with rewarding loyalty but sacrificing competence while doing that, is totally unacceptable.
