The Supreme Court will today, Wednesday, hear the appeal filed by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and its presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar against the judgment of the presidential election petitions tribunal.

NYSC DG Reveals When Youth Corpers Will Receive N30,000 Minimum Wage

Gen. Shuaibu Ibrahim, the Director-General of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), says Youth Corpers will receive the 30,000 minimum wage Once the government commences with the civil servants.

Naija News reports that the NYSC boss made this comment during the opening ceremony of a meeting between top management of the scheme and representatives of state governments on Tuesday in Abuja with the theme: “Optimising the potentials of corps members for national unity and development: The role of state governments as stakeholders.”

820 Buses: Ambode Drags Lagos Speaker, Assembly Members, Others To Court

Former Lagos State Governor, Akinwunmi Ambode, has approached the Lagos High Court in Ikeja, to challenge the constitutionlity of the ongoing probe of procurement of 820 buses by the administration.

Ambode in the suit noted that the procurement was based on budgetary approval as part of the Bus Reform Project of the State Government designed to revolutionize public transportation.

The Jemgbagh Youth Alliance (JYA) has called on President Muhammadu Buhari to probe the Minister of Special Duties, Senator George Akume.
