The Ekiti state governor, Kayode Fayemi has urged his opposition party and candidate, Kolapo Olusola-Eleka to go ahead to the Supreme court to challenge his victory as the state governor.
Fayemi while speaking on Friday declared that he never regarded the defeated governorship candidate, Kolapo Olusola-Eleka as an enemy, but rather he said the major opposition party was free to challenge his victory at any stage of the court.
Innoson Motors Makes Move To Take Over GTBank
Innoson Nigeria Limited has instituted a move to take over Guaranteed Trust Bank (GTB) following a ruling by the Supreme Court over the bank’s N8.7 billion indebtedness to the company.
Dr Innocent Chukwuma, Innoson‘s chairman, made the move through a “Writ of FiFataken over Guaranty Trust Bank PLC for and on half of Innoson Nigeria Ltd” as a result of the Bank’s indebtedness to Innoson Nigeria Ltd.

The national chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Nigeria’s ruling party, Adams Oshiomhole, has alleged that the Independent National Electoral Commission(INEC), Nigeria’s electoral body, worked against the ruling party in the 2019 general election.

Ekiti Guber: Olusola-Eleka Rejects Appeal Court Decision, Heads To Supreme Court
The PDP candidate in the July 14, 2018, governorship election in Ekiti, Prof. Kolapo Olusola-Eleka, has rejected the judgment of the Court of Appeal in a suit he instituted to challenge the victory of Gov. Kayode Fayemi of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Naija News understands that Olusola-Eleka who made his disappointment known earlier today also expressed regrets at the manner in which the Appeal Court dismissed his appeal, saying it suggested that “our democracy is endangered.’’
