2023 Elections: Tinubu Speaks On Contesting Presidency

The national leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has dismissed reports that he is planning to strengthen his presidential ambition by planting his allies in key positions at the national assembly.

President Muhammadu Buhari and the leadership of the ruling party have endorsed Ahmed Lawan as Senate president and Femi Gbajabiamila as speaker of the house of representatives. An ally of Tinubu, Gbajabiamila was elected into the lower legislative chamber of the national assembly during the second term of the APC leader as governor of Lagos state.

Elections Tribunal: I’m A Nigerian – Atiku Tells APC

he Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, has dismissed claims that he is not a Nigerian by birth and was not qualified to seek to occupy the office of the President.

The PDP candidate had gone to court to challenge the victory of President Muhammadu Buhari, his APC rival at the poll.But the ruling party told the presidential election petitions tribunal that Atiku is not a Nigerian by birth and thus, not qualified to run for president, going by the provisions of the 1999 constitution.

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has spoken on the release of the results of the 2019 Unified Territory and Matriculation Examination (UTME).
