Mohbad: Naira Marley Is Innocent – C Blvck Calls Marlians To Speak Up For Him

A signee of controversial singer, Azeez Adeshina Fashola, better known as Naira Marley, C Blvck, has called out to supporters of the singer known as the Marlians to stand up for him in his challenging times.

C Blvck’s call follows the arrest and detention of Naira Marley, who is the president of Marlian Music, over the death of his former signee, Ilerioluwa Aloba, professionally known as MohBad.

Naija News reported on October 3 that the Lagos State Command of the Nigeria Police Force arrested Naira Marley, over MohBad’s demise.

Recall that Mohbad died mysteriously a few weeks ago.

The Lagos Police command spokesperson, Benjamin Hundeyin, in a statement on Tuesday night, confirmed that Naira Marley, who had just returned to Nigeria, has been arrested.

“Azeez Fashola, aka Naira Marley, has been taken into custody for interrogation and other investigation activities,” Hundeyin noted on his X (former Twitter) account late Tuesday.

Naira Marley is expected to assist the police in their investigation into the demise of MohBad, which has generated mixed reactions on and off social media.

Naira Marley had earlier vowed to clear his name and had, before the police statement, confirmed his arrival in Nigeria to help the probe into his former signee’s demise.

However, speaking up for his boss, C Blvck took to social media to appeal to Marlians to raise their voice for the leader of the caucus because he is innocent.

He wrote, “Marlians, this is the time we need to raise our voice for the president. Don’t let us keep quiet. All I know and I still stand on is that Naira Marley is innocent.”
