‘Let Sleeping Dogs Lie’ – Ali Nuhu Cautions Fans As Davido Deletes ‘Offensive’ Music Video

Muslim Nollywood actor, Ali Nuhu, has expressed appreciation to Nigerian singer, Davido, after deleting the controversial music video many termed ‘offensive and disrespect’ to Islam.

Naija News earlier reported that the thespian berated Davido over the new music video of his signee, Logos Olori.

In a post shared on Instagram,  Ali expressed displeasure over the music video, saying it was unacceptable to Islam.

According to him, entertainers should learn to respect other people’s religions, cultures, and traditions in the quest to be creative in their various fields.

The talented thespian urged Davido to pull down the music video and apologize for hurting the entire Muslim ummah.

He wrote: “I just came across the controversial video posted @davido as much we want to be creative in our various fields, we should learn to respect other people’s religion, culture, and tradition.

“This is totally unacceptable in Islam. You should pull down that video and apologize for hurting the entire Muslim Ummah”

In a recent development, Davido succumbed to pressure and pulled down the video from all his social media platforms.

Reacting in a new social media post, Ali appreciated Davido and apologised to those offended by the singer’s action.

He also cautioned his fans to also desist from making issues over the music video.

He wrote: “Thank you for deleting that post @davido, to everyone who felt offended by his post please let sleeping dogs lie. Let love lead, I am personally not against anyone but Please I am appealing to all my fans to desist from any dragging, abuse or insult. Thanks”
