The governor of Abia State, southeast Nigeria, Okezie Ikpeazu, has directed the state ministry of works to ensure the immediate reconstruction of Eze I. O. Kanu road in Afaraukwu Ibeku, Umuahia North Local Government Area (LGA). Naija News reports that the directive of the Abia State Governor is coming a few days to the burial ceremony of the parents of Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).

A Federal High Court sitting in Abuja has fixed March 31, 2020, for the continuation of the trial of Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB). Naija News reports that the court fixed the date after the Federal Government led by President Muhammadu Buhari asked the Federal High Court to reject a request to restore Kanu’s revoked bail.

11. Biafra: Buhari Govt Tables Fresh Request Before Court Over Nnamdi Kanu’s Bail

The Federal Government led by President Muhammadu Buhari has asked the Federal High Court in Abuja to reject a request by the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, to restore his revoked bail. Naija News understands that the Buhari government filed a counter-affidavit before the court to oppose an application filed in April last year by Kanu seeking the restoration of his bail. The prosecuting counsel, Magaji Labaran filed the Federal Government’s objection to the application on January 17, 2020.

12. Biafra: Nnamdi Kanu Releases Fresh Proof Against Buhari On ‘Jubril Of Sudan’

The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, has again alleged that President Muhammadu Buhari is dead and that the person in Aso Rock, Nigeria’s presidential villa, is an impostor whose name is Jubril Al-Sudani from Sudan. Naija News reports that since Kanu resurfaced in Israel in October 2018, he has been alleging that President Buhari is an impostor, a claim which the President quashed after the IPOB leader presented what he described as “scientific proof.”

13. Biafra: ‘Let Us Go’ – Onyeka Onwenu Begs Buhari Govt (Video)

Legendary Nigerian songwriter and singer, Onyeka Onwenu, has asked the Federal Government of Nigeria led by President Muhammadu Buhari to “let Igbos go” if Nigeria does not want them. Naija News reports that the Nigerian legendary singer made this statement at a conference tagged: “Never Again Conference: Nigerian Civil War 50 Years After” in commemoration with the Biafra War 50th Anniversary.
