The off-circle governorship election in Kogi state, which is currently underway, is beginning to take shape as officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) have arrived in some polling units.
Naija News gathered that INEC Officials arrived in Open Space 1, Odda quarters, Aiyetoro 1, Ijumu LGA, Kogi state at 7:56 a.m. and the presiding officer has set up all necessary equipment for the election.
At Omepa Primary School, Ward 01, PU 008, Idah LGA, Kogi, voters were seen checking for their names on the register.
As of, 7:50 a.m., seven security officers were present at the polling unit and 1,599 voters are expected to cast their votes at the unit.
However, as of 7:50 a.m., INEC officials had not arrived at PU028, Nagazi farm center, Adavi LGA, Kogi.
