The acting Managing Director/Chief Executive officer of the Bank of Agriculture (BOA), Alwan Hassan, has been reported missing.
Naija News understands that Hassan was on the Kaduna-bound train that was attacked by the terrorists a few meters away from the Kaduna station on Monday.
In a chat with The Nation on Tuesday, a family member disclosed that Hassan was last seen boarding the Kaduna-bound train.
He, however, revealed that family and friends have been unable to reach the BOA boss since the terror attack on the train occurred on Monday.
“We cannot tell if he has been kidnapped or not but we are worried because we have been unable to reach him since yesterday.
“His phone lines have been switched off and no one has contacted the bank or any of his family members,” he said.
According to the Kaduna State government on Tuesday, eight bodies have been recovered, while 26 others were injured in the Kaduna train attack.
It stated that investigations are still ongoing to ascertain the status of the passengers who were on board the train and remain unaccounted for.
The state government noted that it has received the detailed passenger manifest from the Nigerian Railway Corporation.
It said the documents received showed 398 passengers bought tickets for the trip, but 362 were validated as having boarded the train through the recognized turnstile.
