The Nigerian Senate, on Thursday, suspended its plenary till November 19, 2024.
The suspension, which took effect immediately, is to allow lawmakers and the various committees to perform their oversight functions, Naija News reports.
It would be recalled that the Senate had, earlier in the year, embarked on a seven-week annual recess in July and was expected to resume on September 17, but the resumption was postponed by a week, with the legislators eventually resuming on September 24, 2024.
