President Muhammadu Buhari on Monday held a closed-door meeting with the Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Godwin Emefiele.
Naija News understands that the meeting started at the President’s office around 11.30 am
It is one of the last meetings the President will hold in the villa before heading to Saudi Arabia and later the United Kingdom.
Meanwhile, there are indications that the meeting might have to do with the Buhari-led administration’s efforts to increase the country’s revenue generation capacity.
The government had earlier revealed that there was a need to generate more revenues in order to effectively address the country’s infrastructural deficit.
