Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo has said the toxicology report on the late Nigerian singer, Ilerioluwa Aloba, also known as Mohbad, has not been revealed.
The actress, who has been vested in the case of the deceased Afrobeat star, made this known in an Instagram post on Thursday while announcing a humanitarian award given to her at the 9th edition of the October Green event.
She wrote: “@lamodemag, thank you so much, I’m humbled and honoured. We’re still waiting on the toxicology results of Mohbad’s case.”
It would be recalled that Mohbad died on 12 September and was buried the following day in Ikorodu, Lagos.
The police, however, exhumed his corpse on September 21 for autopsy following calls for investigation.
Several persons, namely Naira Marley, Sam Larry, Primeboy, Spending and a nurse, are currently in police custody over the death of the singer.
Mohbad’s Father Gives More Details About Son’s Death
Meanwhile, the father of the late Mohbad Joseph Aloba has revealed more details about his son’s death.
Aloba, in an interview with BBC Yoruba, shed light on everything that happened on the day he died.
He pleaded with Nigerians to forgive him for burying his son quickly, adding that no one loves his son like he does.
Aloba further stated that his son, before his death confided in him that Naira Marley had an evil side.
He revealed that his son had been subjected to physical abuse multiple times, adding that the first time Mohbad was beaten, he reported it to the police, but no action was taken.
Mohbad’s father, who is a pastor, expressed his inability to take traditional measures due to his religious beliefs.
