ISWAP, a jihadist group in West Africa has killed eight Boko Haram fighters in a clash in Borno State.
Zagazola Makama, an Expert Analyst on Counter-insurgency and a security expert in the Lake Chad Region, said the incident happened in Jilli town between Gubio and Magumeri Local Governments of Borno State.
A Counter Insurgency Expert and Security Analyst in the Lake revealed to Zagazola that the ISWAP ambushed the Boko Haram faction on their mission to rustle livestock belonging to locals in the North of Borno stat
Naija News learned that in addition to killing eight Boko Haram fighters by ISWAP, it also managed to seize their weapons and motorcycles.
There are strong indications that hunger has hit the Boko Haram camps in Bama region warranting them to resort to attacking local villages and farms for foodstuffs, money, and medicines among others.
Information says that this is why the terrorists are attacking the villages and farms in the area to get food, money, and medicines among other supplies.
