INEC Declares PDP’s Okezie Ikpeazu Winner Of 2019 Abia State Governorship Election

Ikpeazu Re-Elected For A Second Term In Office

Okezie Ikpeazu, incumbent governor of Abia State and candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has been declared as the winner of Saturday’s governorship election in the state.

According to Professor Damian Ozurumba, the Returning Officer of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in the state, Ikpeazu secured 261,127 votes to emerge winner.

Dr Alex Otti of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) got 64,366 while the APC candidate secured 99, 574.
