Veteran Nigerian journalist, Dele Momodu, has caused a stir on social media following his recent visit to the family of Nigerian singer, Davido, whose three-year-old, Ifeanyi died after drowning.
Naija News recalls that Ifeanyi Adeleke died after drowning in a swimming pool on Monday, 31st October at his father’s mansion in Banana Island, Lagos.
The singer and his family have been receiving condolence messages from colleagues, politicians and fans across the country and all over the world.
Mourning the death of the minor, Dele Momodu via his verified Instagram page on share a video of his condolence visit to the Adeleke’s family, stating that he spent time all of his Saturday there.
He wrote: ”Spent time most of today with the Adeleke family in Lagos…. May God almighty continue to bless and protect them.”
The post generated mixed reactions from netizens, with many saying the video was insensitive and unnecessary.
