I Would Love For Osimhen’s Transfer To Become Permanent – Galatasaray Coach

Former Napoli midfielder, Marek Hamsik, has expressed his feelings regarding Victor Osimhen's transfer to Galatasaray, suggesting that there may have been non-football related factors involved.

Galatasaray manager Okan Buruk is confident that Nigerian striker, Victor Osimhen will continue with the club until the end of the season.

Osimhen has made a positive impact on Galatasaray after joining the Yellow and Reds on loan from Serie A club Napoli in September.

However, there is a break-up clause in his contract that permits him to leave Galatasaray during the upcoming winter transfer window. Recently, there have been rumours linking the striker to Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester United.

Despite the potential for a transfer, Buruk remains optimistic about Osimhen’s future with the club.

He stated, “I would love for Osimhen’s transfer to become permanent; it would be fantastic for both me as a technical director and as a supporter of the team. The player is currently with us on loan and intends to stay through the season. He has expressed no concerns about the mid-season break.”

Since Victor Osimhen joined Galatasaray last summer, the 25-year-old striker has scored 12 goals in 15 games in all competitions.

Aside from PSG and Manchester United, Chelsea were interested in his signature, but a recent report by The Athletic said the Premier League side is not considering signing him this January.

This is a huge relief for Galatasaray, who are making efforts to offer Osimhen a permanent deal in Turkey.
