I Am Heartbroken – Atiku Sends Message To Orji Uzor Kalu

The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar has send his condolences to the former Governor of Abia State, Orji Uzor Kalu.

Naija News reports that Kalu lost his 61-year-old wife, Ifeoma Ada Kalu on Monday.

The APC chieftain had announced the unfortunate development via his Facebook account.

Reacting, Atiku on Twitter condoled with the family and prayed for the repose of the deceased soul.

He wrote, “I am deeply heartbroken by the news of Mrs Ifeoma Kalu’s passing. A loving wife, mother, and pillar of strength, her radiant spirit touched countless lives.

“My heartfelt condolences to her dear husband—the Senate Chief Whip and former governor of Abia State, Senator Orji Kalu and his family during this time of immense sorrow.

“May her gentle soul rest in eternal peace.”

The Death Of A Darling Wife Is Traumatic – Lawan

Meanwhile, the Senate President, Ahmad Lawan, has commiserated with his Orji Uzor Kalu, over the death of his wife, Ifeoma Ada Kalu.

Lawan stated that he is shocked and saddened by the news of the death of Kalu’s wife, and extended his condolences to the government and people of Abia State over the loss.

He, however, prayed to Almighty God to comfort the Senator and his entire family,

He said, “I condole with Senator Orji Uzor Kalu over the tragic and untimely death of his wife.

The death of a darling wife is traumatic and harrowing but we must accept the will of the Almighty.

“We further take consolation in the fact that Mrs Kalu lived a virtuous life invested in the service of family, community and God.

I extend my condolences to the government and people of Abia State and pray that God will grant them the fortitude to bear the great loss.”
