Nigerian singers, Olamide, Adekunle Gold, Davido and Wizkid, have won individual awards at the 15th Headies held in Atlanta, United States of America.
Naija News reports that while Olamide won the Best Rap Album category with his album, ‘Carpe Diem’, Wizkid’s hit song ‘Essence’ featuring Tems, won the Best Collaboration and Best R ‘n’ B single.
Grammy award-winning singer, Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid also won Album of the year with his ‘Made in Lagos (Deluxe Edition).
On his part, Adekunle Gold won the Songwriter of the Year with ‘Sinner’ and Davido won the Humanitarian Award Of The Year.
Nathaniel Bassey Shares Encounter With Dunsin Oyekan
Meanwhile, Nigerian Gospel singer, Nathaniel Bassey has shared his encounter with his colleague, Dunsin Oyekan, after surviving a ghastly accident.
Bassey in a post shared on his Instagram page said he spoke with his colleague, Oyekan on phone and he sounded powerful.
According to him, the duo spoke in tongues when he reached out to him following the news of the accident.
He added that what he heard, including the picture and video shows that no man can survive such an accident except by the mercy of God.
