Always Think Of Yourself As A Single Mother

Meanwhile, Bashir El-Rufai’s wife, Halima Nwakaego has lamented over how lonely motherhood is for her

The mother of two boys while speaking during a question and answer session on Instagram advised a follower who is a working mom to consider herself a single mother even though she is married.

Nwakaego stated that with this kind of mindset one would not get disappointed if their men do not fulfill some of their duties.

The follower had asked what kind of advice Nwakaego would give to a working mother whose husband refused to fulfill her duty.

Replying, she wrote, “Always think of yourself as a single mother, that way you expect nothing from anyone and never get disappointed.

You do your part and that’s the most important thing. Stop looking at what others aren’t doing for your children. Ask for help instead of assuming people will offer.”
