Emefiele: After Fight With DSS, Prison Service Officials Vacate Court Premises

After clashing with operatives of the Department of State Service (DSS) over the custody of the suspended former governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Godwin Emefiele, officials of the Nigeria Correctional Service (NCS) have vacated the court premises.

Recall that the DSS refused to allow Prison officials to take custody of Emefiele as ordered by the court after granting him bail.

This resulted in a dramatic fight between officials of the two agencies with a senior-ranking prisons official seriously beaten.
