Naija News recalls Badeh, a former Nigerian Chief of Defence Staff was under investigation by the EFCC for allegedly fraudulently enriching himself with public funds before he was gruesomely murdered on the way to his farm in 2018.

The handover of his property has also attracted reactions from Nigerians.

Good one, but is it EFCC’s job to hand over properties? Is there no Agency in charge of that for proper documentation. We just dey do things anyhow, no professionalism anywhere. I’m sure Efcc job is to retrieve not to share govt properties.

I think the FG finalised the deal because the property has been permanently forfeited to them. What EFCC did is just hand over. No big deal.
