Davido Reacts As DSS Re-Arrest Omoyele Sowore (Video)

Popular Nigeria hit-maker, David Adeleke, also known as Davido, has reacted to the re-arrest of the convener of the #RevolutionNow protest, Omoyele Sowore.

Naija News reports that the Department of State Services (DSS) on Thursday night had released Sowore after spending 124 days in detention.

This was following a court ruling ordering DSS to release him in the next 24 hours.

However, the DSS on Friday morning re-arrested Sowore in the premises of the Federal High court, Abuja.

The secret police has reportedly taken the activist to the DSS headquarters.

As at the time of filing this report, the reason for the rearrest was yet to be ascertained.

Reacting in a post on his Twitter handle, Davido stated that justice in Nigeria is becoming a thing of the past.

Davido wrote: “Justice slowly becoming a thing of the past n our dear country …. a kid somewhere in Nigeria dreaming of becoming a lawyer and bettering the community would see this and start having doubts … just sad.”
