The former spokesman to ex-president Goodluck Jonathan, Reno Omokri, has noted that the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control is under-reporting the number of death cases in the country.
The former presidential aide noted that the number of death recorded from Coronavirus by NCDC is not correct
He charged the agency to stop pretending and declare the exact figures to help Nigeria curb the spread of Coronavirus. 
Reno took to his Twitter account and wrote, “The figures given by the NCDC for Coronavirus deaths in Nigeria are way off the mark.”
“In fact, the deaths in just one state, which I won’t mention, are much more than what NCDC is declaring.”
“If we continue pretending, we won’t get the help we need!”
