Burna Boy Reacts To Married Woman’s Claim on Cubana Club Shooting

Nigerian Grammy award-winning singer, Damini Ogulu professionally known as Burna Boy has claimed that people don’t like seeing him happy.

Burna Boy made the assertion in a video posted on his Instastory days after a married woman narrated the singer’s alleged involvement in the shooting of two fun seekers at Club Cubana on Victoria Island recently.

According to Burna Boy, people are usually not happy about his state of mind when they see him smiling.

The singer added that irrespective of people’s thoughts against him, God is greater than them.

In his word: “When they see the omemma smiling, they are not happy, that’s life, when they see the omemma smiling they say No to the omemma smile. But. God pass them.”

Naija News recall that the married woman in a series of social media post shared her own side of the story, detailing all the events that took place in the club.

The lady said, she, her husband and some friends had visited the club to celebrate her childhood friend who recently got married.

She said while they were having a good time and laughing at the VIP section, Burna Boy sent one of his friends to call her and she told him, she wasn’t interested in any talk with the singer.

After the man came to call her for the third time, her friends and husband flared up and it degenerated into a fight.

According to the lady, one of her friends had tried to calm the situation but Burna Boy proceeded to his car while being protected by security.

The lady added that her partner and friend were shot during the fight, with both needing urgent medical attention
