President Muhammadu Buhari has sent his condolence to the Governor of Adamawa State, Ahmadu Fintiri, over the death of his mother.
Naija News had earlier reported that Hajiya Fatima Umaru Badami died at the age of 68.
The President’s condolence was contained in a statement on released through his spokesman, Garba Shehu, Wednesday. 
Buhari who commiserated with the family of the governor, the government and the people of Adamawa State noted that he received the sad news with shock.
He called on the Governor and all mourners to be consoled by the knowledge that “she lived a godly life devoted to service to her immediate community and the less-privileged in the society.”
He prayed to God to give solace to the mourners and accept the soul of Hajiya Fatima.
