Buhari Approves Recruitment Of 5,000 NDLEA Personnel

President Muhammadu Buhari has given his approval for the recruitment of 5,000 personnel for the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA).

Naija News understands that the move by the President is in a deliberate attempt to boost the manpower of the NDLEA.

The President signed the recruitment of the NDLEA Personnel on Friday, July 19.

Personal Assistant to the President on New Media, Bashir Ahmad made this known in his tweet on Friday.

Ahmad in his tweet noted that the NDLEA’s boss, Col. Muhammad Abdallah (rtd) revealed the plans of the president on Friday.

Col Abdallah (rtd) revealed the latest plan of the President concerning the recruitment of the NDLEA personnel during a public destruction of drug exhibits in Jalingo, the Taraba State capital.

Ahmad’s tweet reads; “President @MBuhari approves the recruitment of 5,000 personnel for the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) to boost its manpower, the Agency’s boss, Col. Muhammad Abdallah (rtd) discloses this today at a public destruction of drug exhibits in Jalingo, Taraba State.”
