APC Reduces Cost Of Nomination Forms For Young Aspirants

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has slashed the cost of nomination forms by 50% for young aspirants in the party.

Naija News reports that the APC National Youth Leader, Dayo Israel, made this known in a tweet via his Twitter handle on Wednesday.

Israel said the National Executive Council (NEC) of the party gave the approval for the 50 percent reduction in the price of nomination forms for aspirants under 40 years of age at its meeting held at the Transcorp Hotel in Abuja on Wednesday.

Following this development, aspirants under 40 can now purchase the nomination form for the presidential election at N50 million, instead of N100 million.

Governorship candidates under 40 will pay N25 million, instead of N50 million, while those vying for the house of representatives will pay N5 million and the senate hopefuls will pay N10 million.

The APC youth leader added that the discount on nomination forms for young aspirants is happening in the ruling party for the first time since its existence.

Israel, therefore, admonished young aspirants not to abuse the opportunity.

He wrote: “The APC NEC has approved a 50% discount on nomination forms for everyone under 40yrs old. This is a golden opportunity, but please LET US NOT ABUSE it. The first time in the history of the APC. Glory be to the Almighty.”
