Nollywood actress, Bimbo Ademoye, has opened up on battling depression as she reacts to the death of American DJ Stephen ‘Twitch’ Boss.
Naija News earlier reported that Stephen’s wife, Allison Holker, ran into an LAPD station on Tuesday, frantic because Stephen had left home without his car, which was unusual for him.
“We’re told, a short time later, police got a call for a shooting at an L.A. hotel … and they found Stephen there, dead from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound,” the report stated.
His wife, Holker also added, “Stephen lit up every room he stepped into. He valued family, friends and community above all else and leading with love and light was everything to him.
He was the backbone of our family, the best husband and father, and an inspiration to his fans.
This One Hurt
In a post shared on her Instagram story, Bimbo Ademoye said the news of DJ Stephen really hurts as he was full of life.
The actress revealed she had battled depression and it is always a difficult situation.
She further urged her fans and followers to be kind because everyone deals with hurt differently.
She wrote: “This one hurt. He was so full of life. Coming from someone who has battled depression. It’s kinda hard to hang in there. Rest well.
“Be kind to people, I’m not perfect yes but please be kind, some people deal with hurt differently, some can handle it, a lot of people can’t. Please be kind.”
