Davido Reacts To Sylvester Oromoni’s Death, Names Five People Responsible

Nigerian singer, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido has named the identities of the alleged murderers of Sylvester Oromoni, a 12-year-old pupil who died under controversial circumstances.

Naija News had earlier reported that Oromoni was allegedly beaten to a pulp by his fellow students in the school for refusing to join a cult.

Perrie, an uncle to the deceased in a post on his Twitter account disclosed that his cousin suffered severe injuries which led to his death.

Sylvester Oromoni’s death led to an outcry by both Nigerians and celebrities who demanded justice.

The singer took a cue from this and recently shared a picture of the names of the suspected murderers.

He wrote, “Michael Kashamu, Anslem Temile, Benjamin Favour, Edward Brown, and Agboro Emmanuel.”

Meanwhile, three students of Dowen College in Lekki, Lagos State, are currently in the custody of police for allegedly assaulting 12-year-old Sylvester Oromoni.

Naija News reports that this was made known by the Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Hakeem Odumosu.

Reports had emerged on Tuesday about the detention of the three of the students allegedly involved in the bullying of the deceased student.

Speaking to The PUNCH, Odumosu said two other students of the school fingered in the assault, are now at large.

He added that those in police custody are helping the Command with information on how to track them.

According to the Police boss, Dowen College principal, housemates, and other officials of the school are also assisting the police with information.
