Nigeria’s Super Eagles Maintain 44th Position in Recent Ranking

World Football governing body FIFA, has, on Thursday, ranked Nigeria football team 44 in the world in the first ranking in 2019, maintaining the same position in previous ranking.

The latest ranking which was published on the website of the world’s football governing body, have the Super Eagles maintain its 4th position on the African continent.

The national team of Senegal maintained it position as the leading team in the continent followed by Tunisia and Morocco. The Congo Democratic Republic is the fifth best team in Africa, according to the FIFA ranking.

On a global scale, Belgium retained its number one spot ahead of World Cup winners, France. Brazil came in at the third position with 1676 points. Croatia came fourth, while England rounded off the world’s list of the top five teams.
