The Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate, Peter Obi in the just concluded election, has declared that Nigeria’s President-elect, Bola Tinubu, does not deserve the win as declared by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
Naija News reports that the former governor of Anambra State made this known on Thursday while speaking at a press conference.
During the question and answer session, Nigerian journalist, Seun Okinbaloye, asked Peter Obi if he had called to congratulate Tinubu on his victory.
He responded by saying: “I will not call to congratulate him because he doesn’t deserve the win”
Also reacting to a question about his proof that he won the presidential election, Peter Obi said: “I will bring all my proofs to court, and if I tell you all my proof, which one will I present to the court? I was once awarded a Prof by a school but I turned it down because it is wrong and unethical to accept what you don’t deserve.”
Nigerians Have Been Robbed
Peter Obi, has said Nigerians were robbed during the election and vowed to fight to reclaim his mandate.
He said: “Be rest assured that I and my running mate, Datti Baba-Ahmed will not rest.”
The presidential candidate said he and his running mate remain undaunted and committed to the project of a new Nigeria.
Peter Obi said he would challenge the election that produced Bola Tinubu as president-elect.
“If you must answer his excellency, the process by which you arrived at the office must be excellent,” he said.
He promised Nigerians that he will do everything to prove to Nigerians that “we won the election.”
