Leicester City manager, Brendan Rodgers has asserted that Chelsea manager, Thomas Tuchel and his Liverpool counterpart, Jurgen Klopp are currently not happy with their position in the Premier League table.
Speaking after Leicester City’s Premier League 2-0 defeat to Liverpool on Thursday at his post-match press conference, Rodgers said only Manchester City boss, Pep Guardiola could boast that he is happy at the moment.
According to him, the Spanish professional football coach will be happy because his team currently tops the league table.
Naija News understands that Chelsea had started the season well but their Premier League title hope have dwindled in recent months after a run of just three wins in their last ten league games.
Tuchel’s side now sit 13 points behind current leaders Manchester City and 4 points behind Liverpool which has an outstanding match at hand.
The development has put the Blues’ hope of ending their five-year wait for a Premier League title in doubt.
“If you ask every manager, are you happy, I think Man City would probably say, Pep [Guardiola] would probably say, yeah, I’m quite happy“, Rodgers noted.
“Jurgen [Klopp] won’t because he’ll want to be top. Thomas [Tuchel] won’t because he will want to be top,” the Irish international added.
Meanwhile, English Premier League side, Manchester United have officially signed Cristiano Jr, son of Cristiano Ronaldo.
Ronaldo’s oldest son, named after the Portuguese icon, was pictured posing with United’s famous No7 shirt after agreeing to extend his stay in the club’s youth set up.
Cristiano Jr stood alongside Gabriel – another promising talent – who boasts more than 26,000 followers on Instagram and has a sponsorship deal with Nike.
Ronaldo’s comments would suggest his oldest son has a chance of following in his father’s footsteps by becoming a professional footballer, Naija News reports.
