#GandujeGate : Jaafar Confirms The Authenticity Of Video Showing Kano Governor Of Receiving Bribe
The Publisher of the online Daily Nigerian newspaper, Jaafar Jaafar, has appeared before lawmakers at the Kano State House of Assembly investigating the bribery allegation against Kano State Governor Abdullahi Ganduje.
During his cross-examination, due to ethical reasons, Jafar refused to disclose the source that provided him with the video-recording of Mr Ganduje while collecting the bribe.
NAF Shells Terrorist vehicles in North-East
The Air Task Force (ATF) of Operation LAFIYA DOLE has destroyed a Boko Haram Terrorist (BHT) logistics base, along with some vehicles, at Tumbun Sale in Northern Borno State.
The operation was conducted on 23 October 2018 after Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) missions revealed the presence of some BHT vehicles and several fighters camouflaged under thick vegetation within the area.

The Chief of Army Staff(COAS) Nigerian Army (NA), Lieutenant General Tukur Yusuf Buratai has flaged off a Command Post and Field Training Exercise code named Exercise CROCODILE SMILE 111 in 13 Brigade Area of Operational Responsibility – (Calabar, Cross River State).
The flag off ceremony was conducted at Ikang Forward Operation Base, Ikang, Bakassi Local Local Area of Cross Rivers State by His Excellency, the Governor of Cross Rivers State, Senator Professor Ben Ayade who was the Special Guest of Honour at the occasion.

Protesters have stormed the ministry of justice in Abuja over the death of Ochanya Elizabeth Ogbanje, a 13 years old girl allegedly raped by a father and son in Gboko, Benue State.
The protesters, dressed in black t-shirts, consisted of human rights activists, civil society organisations and students marched to the ministry to demand that those who perpetrated the act are brought to book.

The Federal Government has restated its pledge not to restrain the activities of organised labour in the country, promising that it would continue to engage them in dialogue.
