Omokri Attacks Garba Shehu Over Statement On Raid Of Atiku’s Sons’ Residence

The presidency have been blasted over reports that the account of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, vice presidential candidate, Peter Obi, was frozen.

Reno Omokri, a former aide to ex- President Goodluck Jonathan reacting, Omokri slammed Shehu for going against Atiku who fed him for 16 years, while as his spokesman.

EFCC Denies Arresting Atiku’s Sons

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has denied claims that it apprehended sons of Presidential Candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP)Alhaji Atiku Abubakar.

Mr Tony Orilade, EFCC’s Acting Spokesperson, made the denial in a statement in Abuja, on Monday.

President Muhammadu Buhari has revealed that his Party, the All Progressive Congress (APC) won the 2015 Presidential election due to the glaring endemic corruption that engulfed the country” during the regime of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) government.

The president made this disclosure while declaring open the Corruption Risk Assessment training for heads and senior officials of Anti-Corruption Agencies in the African Union on Monday at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

Strike: Chris Nigige Speaks On partial Agreement Between ASUU And FG

According to Chris Ngige, the Minister Labour and Employment, the federal government and the striking Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) have reached a partial agreement.

Ngige made the announcement yesterday, at a reconciliation meeting aimed at finding ways of resolving the strike which commenced on November 5.

The Enugu State Police Command has commenced a full scale investigation into alleged attempted assassination of the Spiritual Director of Adoration Ministry Enugu, Nigeria (AMEN),Fr. Ejike Mbaka.

Naija News recalls that Mr Mbaka, a well known catholic priest, on December 6, alleged that there was an attempt to assassinate him. Mr Mbaka, claimed that some unidentified gunmen fired gun shots at his vehicle, in transit within Enugu.

President Buhari Appoints His Wife As Member Of Committee Against Drug Abuse

President Muhammadu Buhari, has given his wife, Aisha, a new appointment as a member of the Presidential Advisory Committee on the Elimination of Drug Abuse.

NLC, TUC Place Governors Owing Workers On ‘Watch List’

The Nigeria Labour Congress is to liase with the International Trade Union Congressto place names of governors in the states where workers are being owed salaries and pensions for several months on a “watch list”.

NAN reports that the ITUC which is the world’s largest trade union federation was formed on November 1, 2006, out of the merger of the International Confederation of Free Trade Unions and the World Confederation of Labour.
